My book's file size is too big. How do I upload it?
The max file size we support is 100MB. If your file is larger than 100MB, you'll need to compress it while still ensuring readability. For PDFs, you can try using SmallPDF or Adobe.
If your book is primary text based and doesn't contain too many heavy graphics, then there's no reason your file sizes should be greater than 20MB. We recommend consulting your book formatter or formatting software to investigate the reason. Files larger than 20MB make it technically more challenging for readers to download your ARC, especially if they're not tech-savvy. So it pays to invest in getting your files under 20MB if your book is primarily text based.
To send us large files, you'll need to use a cloud storage provider and email us the appropriate download link. Common cloud storage providers are Google Drive, Dropbox, and iCloud. If you wish to restrict access, only give access to files@booksirens.com.
