How do I know if I'm eligible to review on Amazon?

The easiest way is to simply try...

  1. Find a book on Amazon—ideally a book which you have NOT purchased through Amazon
  2. Scroll the Amazon listing to find the button titled Write a Customer Review or something similar
  3. Click the button to attempt to leave a review
  4. You might be asked to login to your Amazon account

If you see a error message like the one below, it unfortunately means you're not eligible to leave Amazon reviews.

If instead, you see a form to submit your review, good news—you are eligible to leave Amazon reviews!

Note: Your eligibility to leave Amazon reviews is a function of how much you've spent on Amazon in the last 12 months. Only customers who have spent at least 50 USD (or the equivalent in your region's currency) on Amazon in the last 12 months can post Amazon reviews.
