What does "Waiting" mean on my book's activity feed?

For Amazon, B&N, and Kobo

It can mean one of three things:

1. We are waiting for the reader to submit their review to the respective platform. Note that this may not even be possible as some platforms like Amazon don't allow reviews to be posted until after publication date.
2. We are waiting on the respective platform to approve the review. Amazon takes anywhere from a few hours to multiple days to approve a review once it's submitted to them. Occasionally, Amazon does not approve a review and doesn't give a reason why.
3. We are waiting for the reader to share a link to their review if and when the review has been approved by the respective platform.

At the moment, we cannot distinguish between these possibilities. If the review is approved on the respective platform and the reader shares a link to the review with us, we'll update your activity feed accordingly with a link to the review.

For Other Review Platforms

For all other review platforms, it means that we are waiting for the reader to post their review on that review platform. Once the review appears on that review platform, we'll update your activity feed with a link to the review on that platform.
