How do I set my AI preferences?
AI can be used for different aspects of a book from research to actually writing part of the final story. We let you indicate where you don't like AI being used. Then we don't recommend books to you where AI was used in those ways. For example, if you don't like AI being used for cover design, we'll not recommend books where AI was used to design the cover while continuing to recommend books where AI may've been used for something else, like brainstorming / research.
There are presently five AI labels you can express distaste for on your preferences page:
| Label | Description |
| Brainstorm / Research |
AI was used to research, plan, or brainstorm parts of the book. Examples:
|
| Refine / Polish | AI was used to proofread, edit, fix grammar, or format the ebook. |
| Design Cover | AI was used to design the book cover. |
| Illustrations | AI was used to generate some or all of the graphics or illustrations in the book. |
| Writing Some / All of the Text | AI was used to write some or all of the text in the book. |
