When should I start distributing ARCs?

For the best uptake by our community, we recommend distributing ARCs at least 30 days before the official publication date. We've seen many authors and publishers list even 60 or 90 days prior.

Your cover should be finalized and marketable. The manuscripts should have gone through the editing, proofreading, and ebook formatting process. ARC readers are NOT beta readers and they expect close to final work. 

The more time readers get read your ARC before the publication date, the better your chances of launching with a healthy number of honest reviews on sites like Amazon, Goodreads, and Bookbub.
