What disclaimers should I be aware of before listing my book?

1. We CANNOT guarantee our editorial team will list your book. A submission may be declined for a variety of reasons, many of which have nothing to do with the book but simply lack of space availability. We also cannot reconsider submissions. Rest assured, you are only billed if we agree to promote your book.
2. We CANNOT guarantee readers will download your book. A reader's decision to download your book is largely dependent on your book's cover, blurb, and sample. From our side, we do our best to show your books to readers who are most likely to consider downloading and reviewing your book. If you choose the Promote plan, you only pay if readers download your book.
3. We CANNOT guarantee that every reader who downloads your book will leave a review. We maintain a site-wide review rate of 75% — i.e. 75% of downloads result in a review on average. This statistic is averaging across the thousands of books in our catalog. We CANNOT predict the review rate for your specific book.
4. We CANNOT guarantee that every review will be positive or will meet your standards. Some reviews can be lukewarm, negative, unfair, or inaccurate. In addition to our basic vetting, you can vet readers yourself before giving them access to your ARCs. As of Jan 2026, the average rating given by BookSirens readers is 4.1 out of 5. This statistic is averaging across the thousands of reviews that flow through BookSirens. We CANNOT predict the average review rating your specific book will receive.
5. We CAN guarantee that you will save time compared to if you had to find willing reviewers on your own. Time that you can re-purpose towards writing.
