What is the acceptance criteria?
As a general rule of thumb, we like to maintain a certain quality standard across our entire catalog. Furthermore, we don't like to oversaturate our catalog with too many books at any given time. For these reasons, we have to be selective about which books and authors we work with.
Promote Plan or DIY Plan
To maximize the chances of your book getting accepted to the Promote Plan or DIY Plan, we recommend:
- A well designed, genre-targeted cover ideally made by a professional cover designer
- A catchy genre-targeted blurb, free of typos and grammatical issues
- A book published in the last 30 days or - even better - with a future publication date
- A book which can be read as a standalone, preferably not in a middle of a series which necessitates readers having read prior books
- A well-proofread and edited manuscript, ideally by a professional
- Well-formatted manuscripts, ideally formatted by professional writing software (ex. Vellum) or by a professional
- Written in English
We may still accept your book if one or more of these guidelines are not met.
The more guidelines that are met, the better your books' chances of being accepted.
Furthermore, authors who have a proven track record with previously published titles are more likely to be accepted.

Author Plan
By enrolling in the Author Plan, we are promising to promote all your future titles for the next 12 months.
Therefore, we like to ensure a certain quality standard is met before making that commitment.
To maximize your chances of being accepted into the Author plan, we recommend:
- You already have a proven track record of publishing high quality, positively-reviewed work
- You have promoted a book with us under the Promote Plan and it has done well with our readers. Scroll up to see our acceptance criteria for the Promote Plan.
